What We Do

ACESWorld works to improve the health and well-being of people experiencing poverty and those in vulnerable situations by reducing health disparities and vulnerability to climate-related extreme events and other economic, social, and environmental shocks. We build resilience and hope into young people’s learning about our changing climate to minimize anxiety, grief, fear, or guilt about the planet’s future their own. We work to bridge healthcare access and quality gaps for underserved communities. Our Health Equity Project focuses on identifying and addressing the social determinants of health that contribute to disparities, ensuring everyone can achieve optimal health. We work in the US and globally to champion equity, empower diverse voices, foster a culture of inclusivity, and end violence against women and girls.
