"It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men."
— Frederick Douglass
Why Mentoring Matters
At T.I.P. Organization, we believe in the words of Frederick Douglass: "It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men." Every day, we work with young people who are facing challenges that many adults would struggle to overcome. Through mentorship, guidance, and consistent support, we can help them build confidence, make positive choices, and create a brighter future before they become another statistic.
The impact of a mentor extends far beyond a few hours each week. A mentor can become the trusted adult who helps a young person believe in themselves, stay focused on their goals, and realize that their circumstances do not define their future.
Call to Action
Be the mentor you wish someone had been for you.
Give just 5 hours a week and help us build strong children, strengthen families, and transform communities.
We especially need positive male role models willing to stand in the gap for our young men.
"Together, we can bridge the gap, change the narrative, and create the village our youth deserve."
