Volunteer: Transportation Liaison

Combat Boots 2 The Boardroom (CB2TB) is looking for a dependable Van Driver & Transportation Liaison to provide vital transportation support for our programs. This role ensures smooth coordination of our monthly donation pick-ups and P.R.O.S.P.E.R. Veteran Cohort workforce development sessions, helping us continue to serve veterans, youth, and families in our community.

Responsibilities

Drive one full day (8 hours) each month to pick up donations for CB2TB programs

Drive one full day (8 hours) each month to transport veterans participating in the P.R.O.S.P.E.R. Workforce Development Cohort to and from industry partner sites

Coordinate logistics with CB2TB staff to maintain efficient routes and schedules

Provide a safe, professional, and positive transportation experience for veterans and community partners

Requirements

Must be 25 years of age or older

Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Able to pass a background check and drug screening

Reliable and comfortable driving for extended hours (8-hour shifts)

Schedule

Two days per month (8 hours each day)

Day 1: Donation pick-ups

Day 2: Veteran workforce cohort transportation

Draft short blog posts or spotlight articles highlighting our veterans, families, and youth initiatives

Provide light support in SEO and Google Ads optimization to increase online visibility

Help brainstorm creative ways to engage donors, volunteers, and community partners

Skills & Qualifications

Strong written communication and creative thinking skills

Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)

Basic design skills (Canva or similar tools) a plus

Interest in nonprofits, community service, or veteran support work

No professional experience required—just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
