The Frank Callen Boys & Girls Club has positions open in August for part-time tutors, contingent on a federal grant award to be confirmed 7/25/24.

This position is available at the Frank Callen Boy's & Girl's Club in cooperation with AmeriCorps VISTA. Boys & Girls Clubs are one of the oldest and most effective youth development organizations in the nation. achieve a bright future.

You’ll receive training in why youth join gangs, how to reach out to youth, in mentoring programs, Boys & Girls Club processes and more, and will work alongside others who have committed to this important and exciting project for Chatham County.

You’ll participate in outreach to schools, community groups, kids groups and events to help us engage the hardest to reach and most at-risk youth, all with the help of dedicated and experienced support mentors. We’ll help you develop your skills for future work in this year long, full time position.

You'll receive a biweekly stipend totaling $21,063 annually, generous benefits, and a cash or tuition reimbursement award after 12 months with us.
