The mission of United Way of the Coastal Empire is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities.
Through partnerships, long-term planning, and wise investment of donor contributions, United Way supports 92 programs at 58 nonprofit agencies within three impact areas:

- Income
- Health
United Way of the Coastal Empire serves four counties: Bryan, Chatham, Effingham, and Liberty.
United Way is a volunteer-driven organization that involves hundreds of community leaders and professionals in every aspect of our business, including fundraising, marketing, and funding decisions, to ensure that your donations are truly making a difference.
*The Opportunity*
We here at the United Way are continuously working on our 2020 fundraising campaign and are looking for capable volunteers to help our campaign team on THURSDAY, October 8 from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Please do not show up without prior confirmation from UWCE staff of the date and time.
Responsibilities will include labeling envelopes, folding pledge forms, and other mailing necessities. This will likely not take all day but we ask the time is set aside just incase.
