Grateful Givers Needed for Brown Bag for the Elderly November 15
Help us fill bags—and hearts—with gratitude this season.
We need dedicated volunteers like you to help pack food bags for our Brown Bag for the Elderly program. This important initiative ensures local seniors have enough food to last through the end of the month. In November, we are excited to be giving back to our communities. How can you help, by bringing in a can of vegetables or cranberry sauce. This way we can continue to stock our shelves in the marketplace with some of the traditional Thanksgiving meal items. If you would like you are more than welcome to wear your favorite fall flannel or a turkey outfit! We will be leaving a grateful message in each bag. Can't wait to see those outfits.
Brown Bag Saturday
Start Time: 9:00 AM
Please arrive by: 8:45 AM for sign-in & orientation
Shift Duration: ~3 hours or until packing is complete
Parking: Available in front of the building, with overflow parking to the right.
Safety First:
Closed-toe shoes required (no sandals or open-toed footwear)
Dress appropriately for warehouse work
Bring a water bottle or refillable container – water is also available on-site
Who Can Volunteer?
Volunteers must be 16+ years old
Ages 12–15 are welcome with an adult chaperone who stays the entire shift
Registration is required
