Help Us Sort Food Donations for Our Agency Partners!
Help America's Second Harvest sort thousands of pounds of food donations collected through the Letter Carriers' Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive and other sources to prepare the items for distribution to food pantries throughout our region. Volunteers sort nonperishable food into bins by food type. The bins are made available to 'shoppers" from our partner agencies to offer at their food pantries, soup kitchens and other programs serving people at risk of hunger.
This is a fun opportunity for individuals, families -- and especially teams!
PLEASE NOTE:
Closed-toe shoes required.
This opportunity is NOT eligible for court-appointed community service. Volunteers age 12 and older are welcome, but those under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
