Islands Family YMCA Community Tree Planting Event

Join us for a special community tree planting event in celebration of Georgia Arbor Day!

What is Georgia Arbor Day?

Arbor Day is a day set aside for schools, civic clubs, and other organizations, as well as individuals, to reflect on the importance of trees in our state. National Arbor Day is in April, but Georgia Arbor Day is in February because it is the ideal time to plant trees in our state.

This tree planting will be at Islands Family YMCA from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm.
