Step Up is in need of volunteers for our upcoming Poverty Simulation! Volunteers are a critical part of the simulation that is offered to hundreds of individuals each year.
Child care is available upon request.
A bagged meal is provided!
The poverty simulation is a tool that helps participants rethink the challenges that millions of low-income individuals must face each and every day. More importantly, this tool helps people identify areas of change that can directly impact the effects of poverty on individuals, families and communities.
During the poverty simulation, volunteers are tasked with acting as service providers in the community. No experience necessary however, previous poverty simulation experience is a plus!
