Tuesday, March 12th, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., United Way of the Coastal Empire's Liberty County office will be hosting a Mass Mobile Food Pantry. We need volunteers to help us unload and set up the food prior to distribution as well as volunteers to help us during the distribution. This requires lifting and carrying as well as being on your feet throughout the event.
9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.: Volunteers will help unload the truck and arrange food for easy pick-up.
11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.: Volunteers will help load food into vehicles as people pass through the pick-up line.
Volunteers are welcome to select one shift or both!
Lifting and carrying are a part of this volunteer project. Volunteers should wear closed toe shoes as well as layered clothing appropriate to the weather.
Liberty County Volunteer schedule and procedures are different at this time due to COVID-19. Volunteers can still sign up but will be contacted for further scheduling. Please do not show up on site without confirmation.
