Join us and celebrate a summer full of fun by helping patrons register for the Summer Reading Challenge, leading activities, or managing craft stations.
LOPL Volunteer Policies: Volunteers receive no payment or discounted fees for their service. Hours may be kept on record for tracking purposes. Volunteers must be at least 15 years old. Applications that are requested by minors will need a hard-copy parental signature form prior to approval. It is the policy of Live Oak Public Libraries to provide equal opportunities without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, gender, sexual orientation, sexual identity, age, or disability. Volunteers over the age of 18 must consent to a background check done by LOPL. Volunteers aged 18+ will be required to pay the $31 fee for a background screening. Program Volunteers may be exempt from this fee, dependent upon the program they are providing to the Library.
