Historic Savannah Foundation (HSF) is partnering with The Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation to host the 2017 Fall Ramble – giving participants the exclusive chance to admire restored interiors and special furnishings that have been treasured by families for generations. Tours of historic homes and sites are self-guided, and guests provide their own transportation.
From house docents, registration, and event logistics, volunteer efforts create a wonderful experience for the hundreds of visitors coming to Savannah. Learn about a historic property while you greet visitors. Tasks include interacting with Ramblers and answering site and ramble related questions. Needs are:
Friday, October 6th: Registration at First Presbyterian Church.
11AM – 4PM. 2 shifts: 10:45AM - 1PM; 1PM - 4:15PM)
House Docents for Midtown Ramble sites.
11AM – 5PM (2 shifts: 10:45AM – 2PM; 1:45PM – 5PM)
Directional Guides & Greeters for dinner and reception at Kehoe Foundry.
6PM – 8PM.
Saturday, October 7th: Registration & Breakfast at Lucas Theater & Kennedy Pharmacy. 9AM - 11AM.
