Needs From: United Way Volunteers

We're gearing up for breast cancer awareness month in October and we need your creative touch to spread the word! If you have a knack for design and want to make a difference, we're looking for volunteers to create eye-catching flyers, mailers, and social media posts that will help promote our upcoming events.

We are looking for:

Creative individuals passionate about supporting cancer research. Graphic design skills to craft engaging and visually appealing flyers. Availability to collaborate based on feedback

Time Commitment:

Flexible! We appreciate any amount of time you can contribute. Whether it's a few hours or a week, every bit helps.

Be a part of our 2026 Relay for Life planning team!

A movement dedicated to helping communities attack cancer.

We are building an on campus leadership team.  The leadership team will meet regularly throughout the school year for planning, but will be tasked to recruit more students to help execute planned activities.

ACS On Campus chapters are student led, staff supported team, that brings engagement to their community in the fight against cancer through the following topics:

Survivor & Caregiver Engagement such as volunteering at local cancer centers Cancer Education & Research through promoting cancer awareness & prevention strategies Fundraising for the American Cancer Society Advocacy & lobbying our lawmakers for positive legislation that affect cancer patients

ACS On Campus chapters across the country host events to promote cancer awareness, plan and fundraise at community events (such as Relay For Life or an event created by team), make dinner for cancer patients, and much, much more to help us in the fight against cancer!

Anyone on a high school or college campus can be a part of this team! If you are interested in being a part of our campus leadership, please reach out today!
