Needs From: United Way Volunteers

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Thank you for your support of our families and children. Wine, Women & Shoes will be held Wednesday, April 29th and Thursday, April 30th at the Kehoe Iron Works at Trustees’ Garden in downtown Savannah.
We hope you are available to volunteers for one or both days. Volunteers are needed for the following shifts:
RMH Signature Luncheon and Fashion Show - Event PrepTuesday, April 28th, 2 PM-5 PMEvent prep is washing the wine glasses, labeling water bottles, and helping with any other set-up for the Luncheon on the next day.
RMH Signature Luncheon and Fashion ShowWednesday, April 29th, 9 AM-3 PMYou will be volunteering for the entire event! This includes assisting with event set up, registration and check in of all event guests, Live Auction and Fund our Mission, helping keep the event area clean. Please remember: (all volunteers during event must be age 21+)
Wine, Women & Shoes Event PrepWednesday, April 29th,2:30 PM – 5 PMEvent prep is washing the wine glasses, prepping swag bags, and helping with any other set-up for Wine, Women & Shoes on the next day.
Wine, Women & Shoes Event Set UpThursday, April 30th, 10 AM-3 PMEvent set up – Includes registration tables, swag bag room, ballroom set up, signage, unloading vendor cars, and assisting where needed.
Wine, Women & ShoesThursday, April 30th 4:30-10:30 PMYou will be volunteering for the entire event! Volunteering during the event (all volunteers during event must be age 21+)Registration/check-in, passing out swag bags, capturing bidders for live auction and 10 in 10, keeping the event clean during the event, assisting with any other event needs and breakdown of the event.
Wine, Women & Shoes Event BreakdownFriday, May 1st, 9 AM - 1 PMEvent Breakdown is packing all items at the venue is cleared of House items and placed into staff and volunteer vehicles and taking them back to the House.

Ronald McDonald House - Coastal Empire

The Ronald McDonald Family Room located in St. Joseph/Candler Hospital is looking for volunteers to help maintain the facility. Responsibilities would include maintaining a clean facility, and checking families in who wish to visit and utilize the facility.

Hours are Sunday 1-4pm, Monday through Friday 12-3pm and 3-6pm, Saturday 10am-1pm and 1-4pm. (3 Hour Shifts)

The Ronald McDonald Family Rooms are located in both Memorial University Medical Center. We are looking for volunteers who are great hosts/hostesses as the responsibilities would include maintaining a clean facility and checking families in who wish to visit and utilize the facility.

This listing is for the Family Room located at Memorial Hospital.

Hours are Sunday-Saturday from 9:00 am-6:00 pm. (3 Hour Shifts)

Volunteers are the heartbeat of our House! Volunteer opportunities include assisting families and staff at the House.

General office work (answering door, phone, etc.) and a variety of tasks around the House such as answering the doors, replenishing supplies, inspecting rooms, as well as light housekeeping.
