Dear Community Members,

At SunCare Hospice Care Center, our mission has always been to provide peace, dignity, and comfort to patients and their families during life’s most delicate moments. As we prepare to fully open our doors right here in Springfield, we are incredibly close to making this sanctuary a reality—but we need our community’s help to cross the finish line.

To provide the seamless, high-quality care our families deserve, we need to complete a few vital final projects. We are reaching out to our amazing community to help us fund or your business donates labor and resources for:

A Safe & Welcoming Arrival: Completing our parking lot and parking spaces so grieving families and visiting loved ones always have a accessible, stress-free place to park.

Privacy & Serenity: Installing a new boundary fence to ensure our patients and families have the quiet, uninterrupted privacy they need. 

A Warm, Healing Environment: Final interior and exterior painting to transform the center into a bright, soothing, and comforting home away from home.

Connection & Comfort: Purchasing 7 patient rooms LG 43" Smart TVs, allowing our patients to watch their favorite familiar shows, connect with digital memories, and find a sense of normalcy and distraction during their stay.

Welch Allyn 300 Series Vital Sign Monitor to provide the right comfort care to each patient, knowing what thier vitals are and meeting them where they are at. 

Accucold Blanket Warmer with Stainless Steel Exterior which provides warmth and comfort to our patients after dressing or showering. 

Every dollar raised stays directly here in Springfield to complete these final touches. Whether you can sponsor a Smart TV, contribute to the paving fund, build a privacy fence, paint the exterior, or simply share this plea with your friends and neighbors, your generosity directly impacts the comfort of a patient in need.

SunCare Hospice & Pallitive Care proudly serves our patients in Effingham, Chatham, Bryan, Jenkin & Screven counties. 

We are looking for compassionate volunteers for patients and thier families during life's most difficul moments. 

Our #1 need for our patients is Companionship!  Volunteers sit with our patients in the compfort of thier home, in a local care facitlity, or at our brand new Hospice Care Center in Springfield.

You provide companionship by actively listening, reading, watching Tv, listen to music, sharing stories, journaling their memories for thier loved ones, playing cards, or sitting outside with them for example.  

Our volunteers do not physically assist or touch our patients. 

#2 Need is for Veteran to Veteran Companionship! 

                                        Come make a difference with us, one life at a time. 

  ~ Must complete our comprehensive volunteer back ground checks (we pay), paperwork & training.

We are in need of licensed Hairstylists and Barbers to give of thier time and talents (free services)  to go into Hospice patients homes and or nursing homes to give fresh haircuts, beard and mustache trims. Serivng all of our surrounding counties. You'll be blessed just as much as the patient is being blessed!
