Who We Are
Founded in 1937, Union Mission exists to prevent and end homelessness in the greater Savannah area.
What We Do
Serving the homeless population, as well as individuals who are at-risk for homelessness, Union Mission programs include: housing services (emergency, transitional, and permanent); HIV services (prevention education and post-diagnosis support); behavioral health services (family, individual, and group counseling, including substance abuse counseling); mental health services (psychiatric care and medication support); and employment services (work readiness, life skills, and culinary training? employment placement and retention). The core value of Union Mission’s work is that if committed, compassionate community support can change lives.
