Senior Companions are volunteers, over the age of 55, who serve between 15-40 hours a week helping their older adult clients with daily tasks and decreasing social isolation. They earn tax free hourly, mileage, and meal stipends. This non-profit program is housed in the Georgia Southern University Center for Social Gerontology.
