Who We Are
Brightside Child & Family Advocacy provides services to prevent child abuse and neglect by strengthening and supporting healthy family relationships. We believe in a community where every child is given the opportunity to thrive in a safe and loving home.
Our Programs:
1. Savannah Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) recruits and trains volunteers to advocate for the best interests of children who have experienced abuse and neglect.
2. The Bright House provides court-mandated supervised visitation and family support services in a home-like setting.
3. The Brighter Futures Program supports older youth transitioning out of foster care by providing them with the resources, guidance, and skills needed to achieve independence, stability, and long-term success.
What We Do
Brightside Child & Family Advocacy works to prevent child abuse and neglect by strengthening and supporting healthy family relationships. Based in Savannah, Georgia, Brightside serves children and families impacted by the foster care system through three core programs: Savannah CASA, which provides trained volunteers to advocate for children in court; Bright House, a supervised visitation and family support center; and Brighter Futures, which supports youth aging out of foster care. Brightside partners with DFCS, the courts, and community organizations to ensure every child has the support they need to thrive.
