Help out this Holiday Season by volunteering for Union Mission's annual Thanksgiving Meal! Volunteers will have the opportunity to serve a meal or assist with donation giveaways.
SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Commitment to support Union Mission and its mission to partner with people to end their homelessness through housing and supportive services
TASKS: Some or all of the following tasks may be required. Volunteers may be working inside assisting with food prep or may be outside assisting with donation giveaways. It is up to the Volunteer Coordinator's discretion on what location is assigned.
PLEASE DRESS FOR THE APPROPRIATE WEATHER
• Assisting kitchen personnel with line service
• Maintaining safe and sanitary food handling and service procedures
• Cleaning the kitchen and dining area before and after food service
• Emptying and changing trash receptacles during and after meal service
• Other duties as assigned
• Set up donation distribution area
• Assist clients with shopping
• Maintain an organized work area
