The Tybee MLK Human Rights Organization is hosting the Juneteenth Celebration of Freedom event on Tybee Island June 18 - 19, 2022. This annual event will include a wade-in, entertainment, live music, speakers, and more!
All events are located on the Tybee Pier and South Beach over these two days of celebration, so volunteers are asked to dress accordingly and plan in advance for parking.
VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED FOR THE FOLLOWING:
Saturday, June 18:
(All Shifts) Entertainment check-in, stage monitoring, t-shirt sales, and an information table. (Tybee Pier)
Sunday, June 19:
8:00 AM - 11:00 AM & 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Shifts: Wade-In Crowd management, water distribution, wheelchair assistance (South Beach)
10:30 AM - 12:30 PM/12:30 PM - 2:30 PM/2:30 PM - 4:30 PM/4:30 PM - 6:30 PM Shifts: Entertainment check-in, stage monitoring, t-shirt sales, and an information table. (Tybee Pier)
