SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Commitment to support Union Mission and its mission to partner with people to end their homelessness
- Completion of Volunteer Application
Responsibilities:
- Help with watering, weeding, and mulching to ensure the health and vitality of plants.
- Assist in the upkeep of walkways, pathways, and other hardscape features.
- Support the removal of debris and litter from outdoor areas.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Qualifications:
- Passion for the outdoors and a desire to contribute to the beautification of public spaces.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and kneeling.
- Willingness to work as part of a team and take direction from supervisors.
- Previous landscaping or gardening experience is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
Essential: Interest in supporting the ongoing operations of monthly landscaping, good communication skills, friendly and helpful manner, ability to do lift lifting under 25 lbs
