Description
We need volunteers like you to pack food bags for our Brown Bag for the Elderly program. Your participation is crucial to the success of this event. This vital initiative ensures that seniors in our community have enough food to last through the end of the month.
Brown Bag Saturdays start promptly at 9 am.
Arrive by 8:45 am for sign-in and orientation.
Shift will last around 3 hours or until packing is completed.
For your safety, please note that sandals or open-toed shoes are not allowed. Please dress appropriately to work in the warehouse. We take your safety seriously and have put these measures in place to ensure a secure environment for everyone.
Registration is required to participate.
All volunteers must be 16 years or older. Volunteers between the ages of 12 and 15 are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult who must stay for the duration of the volunteer hours.
When you arrive, parking is available in front of the building, with additional overflow parking for volunteers on the right side of the lot.
Coca-Cola Cafe (CCC): This is new information for all volunteers: We no longer give out water bottles. Please bring in a water bottle or any insulated bottle to fill or refill. The Coca-Cola Cafe has a water fountain and cups for volunteers to use if someone forgets their beverage.
All volunteers must arrive on time. I will wait for everyone to arrive- no later than 8:45 am. Once the doors are locked, no one else can enter. This is a massive building, and we must keep the door locked for everyone's safety.
