Senior Citizens, Inc. seeks volunteers to help deliver meals to homebound seniors during lunchtime.
Did you know that 1 out of 6 seniors in the U.S. does not know where their next meal is coming from? Some seniors in your neighborhood struggle to afford enough to eat. You can make a significant difference by volunteering with Meals on Wheels.
Delivery usually takes an hour. Route deliveries start at 10:30 a.m. SCI prepares hot, fresh, nutritious meals daily, and volunteers use their vehicles to deliver them. We have nearly 40 volunteer routes throughout Chatham, Bryan, and Liberty counties. We can provide a route near your home or work, making volunteering easy and convenient.
We currently have routes available in the Windsor Forest area on Wednesday.
