Spooktacular Service with Brown Bag for the Elderly October 18
Lend a helping hand—no tricks, just treats for our seniors!
We need dedicated volunteers like you to help pack food bags for our Brown Bag for the Elderly program. This important initiative ensures local seniors have enough food to last through the end of the month. In October, we are excited to be giving back to our communities. Want to help stock our marketplace you can bring in any canned good to donate. If you would like you are more than welcome to wear a costume! (family friendly and no masks please) (Remember closed toe shoes, though.) There will be a food truck on site just for the volunteers. Can't wait to see those costumes.
Brown Bag Saturday
Start Time: 9:00 AM
Please arrive by: 8:45 AM for sign-in & orientation
Shift Duration: ~3 hours or until packing is complete
Food Truck will be available from 1030 until 1230 that volunteers may purchase lunch or a snack.
Parking: Available in front of the building, with overflow parking to the right.
Safety First:
Closed-toe shoes required (no sandals or open-toed footwear)
Dress appropriately for warehouse work
Bring a water bottle or refillable container – water is also available on-site
Who Can Volunteer?
Volunteers must be 16+ years old
Ages 12–15 are welcome with an adult chaperone who stays the entire shift
Registration is required
