Volunteer with Us at the Savannah Southern Half Marathon!
The Savannah Southern Half Marathon is right around the corner — and we need your help to make it a success! All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society, supporting lifesaving research and patient programs right here in our community.
We have three volunteer shifts available, so there’s a spot for everyone to get involved. From handing out water to cheering on runners, every role helps make a difference!
We’re also looking for one Team Captain per shift — if you’re interested in taking the lead, please reach out!

Friday, November 14th 9:00AM to 1:00PM or 12:30-5pm
Tasks: EXPO Support - Athlete T-shirt pickup; Information and/or Green Team * tasks may be subject to change
Report Location: Savannah Convention Center Governors Ballroom A/B 1 International Dr. Savannah GA 3142
Parking Location: PARK -in the general parking lot (not the garage) for $5 all day.
Saturday, November 15th 5:30am - 12pm
Tasks: Water Stop/Aide Station 3-Bull St (btwn 35th and 37th)
Mile 5.9 Latitude and Longitude: 32° 3'29.35"N, 81° 5'59.02"W
Location: Report directly to Water Stop Parking Location: Can park in Library lot
IMPORTANT INFO: ● Wear comfortable shoes and clothes ● All volunteers will be given a volunteer t-shirt to wear. ● Every volunteer must have a printed and signed volunteer waiver completed before task begins. ● Remember, we go rain or shine so please let your volunteers know they are even more important in inclement weather. Either way, prepare to have FUN!!!
