SunCare Hospice & Pallitive Care proudly serves our patients in Effingham, Chatham, Bryan, Jenkin & Screven counties.
We are looking for compassionate volunteers for patients and thier families during life's most difficul moments.
Our #1 need for our patients is Companionship! Volunteers sit with our patients in the compfort of thier home, in a local care facitlity, or at our brand new Hospice Care Center in Springfield. You provide companionship by actively listening, reading, watching Tv, listen to music, sharing stories, playing cards, or sitting outside with them for example.
Our volunteers do not physically assist or touch our patients.

~Donate resources/materials/time to building wheel chair ramps
~ Lawn & Landscaping Upkeep
~Lighthouse Keeping Tasks
~ Handy Man Projects in our patients home
~Licensed Hairdresser/Barber/Cosmetologist to go into home for Hair Cuts & Nails
