Each year of the Great Ogeechee Seafood Festival, the Chamber donates $6/hour, per volunteer to give to their favorite charity. We are so thankful to have the opportunity to help recruit volunteers which can in turn, serve as a donation to our organization's community fund.
NOTE: When signing up, there is a spot that says, "Organization Volunteering for" and we'd be grateful if the United Way of the Coastal Empire was your nonprofit of choice.
Please consider pulling together a team of folks either from your business or friends who would volunteer during the festival and then donate the money to United Way. This is a fun way to team build, hang out with your friends and give back – all at the same time! Below is the google doc link to have your team sign up. Each person on the team will need to sign up with an email so that members get the confirmation details before the event. Please read all info on the form to understand each job requirements. Please move quickly to ensure your team gets the dates/times and jobs that will work best for you.
This is another way to be able to give to United Way’s campaign for 2021. If you pull together a team of friends and would be willing to wear United Way Volunteer t-shirts, let us know and we will get them for you. I hope you will consider helping in this way.
