We need 30 volunteers on Saturday March 30th to help with this great event. We have opportunities in these areas: Registration, Check-In, Bag/Key Check, On Course Road Traffic Marshalling, Water Stations, Cart Shuttle Driving, and Post Event Party help. Hours are between 7am and noon, depending on role. Full Details are below.

Saturday, March 30 – RACE DAY
Shift 1: Timing: 7:00am – 10:30am / 11:00am
• Registration – 2 volunteers
Shift 2: Timing: 7:30am – 10:30am / 11:00am
• All remaining volunteer positions
o Registration/Check-In – 4
▪ Assist with day of registrations – we will have a square at the table to
charge registration fees. Each registrant will also need to sign a form that
will be printed and at the table
▪ This assignment requires using technology – a square device. Training on
how to use it will be provided
▪ Assist with packet pick-up for participants that haven’t picked up their
packet yet
o Bag/Key Check – 2
▪ Place participants items they would like to store with us in a paper bag
and label the bag with their name on it
▪ Once the race starts these volunteers will transport these items to the
finish line on Hole 5 (Schooner Cove)
o On course road traffic marshals – 6
▪ Assist with directing runners to make sure they stay on course
▪ Age minimum – 18 years old.
o Water Stations – 8
▪ 3 stations – 2 volunteers at Start Line, 2 volunteers at Finish Line and 4
volunteers at the station on the route)
▪ The stations will have cups
▪ There will be trash cans on course and by the water station that is located
on course, volunteers at each station will pass out water cups and help
make sure that the area is picked up and clean after runners come
through
o Cart Shuttle Drivers (6-seaters) – 6
▪ Cart Shuttle drivers will shuttle runners / walkers from the finish line to
the start / parking lot
▪ Age minimum – 18 years old.
o Post Round party – 5
▪ 2 volunteers will pass out medals at the finish line
▪ 2 volunteers will assist with the dog activity station – there will be peanut
butter at this station (please do not agree to work this station if you have
a nut allergy)
▪ 1 volunteer will help pass out the awards during the award ceremony
