Volunteer Management: Keys to Effectiveness

Expert volunteer managers, Lily McCormick (Director of Volunteers, Senior Citizens, Inc.) and Jessica Mathis (Volunteer Services Coordinator, Georgia Regional Hospital Savannah) share their best practices and tips to managing and maintaining volunteers. In the second half of the session, Sarah Holloway, (Volunteer Coordinator, United Way Volunteers) will provide an in-depth web training on use of the United Way Volunteers website, www.unitedwayvolunteers.org, a free resource and open platform to all local nonprofits where you can share your agency’s needs and recruit volunteers.
