Description
The National Trust for Historic Preservation designates May of each year as “Preservation Month”. Historic Savannah Foundation (HSF) has embraced May by hosting an educational festival that demonstrates what makes Savannah unique. We are celebrating our 5th annual Savannah Preservation Festival May 5th, 6th & 7th.
Patrons will tour some of Savannah’s finest private homes, sample fine wines paired with gourmet appetizers during this self-guided walking tour in the heart of Warren Ward in the Landmark District.
Savannah Preservation Festival Wine tasting Volunteers must attend a mandatory Wine tasting Training on Friday, April 29th at 4:30PM at the HSF office, 321 E. York Street.
Volunteer Roles
Volunteer needs are:
- Winetasting Launch site
- Greeter
- Check-in
- Set-up and break down
- Wine tasting Tour – each site will require:
- Wine Pourers/ Food Servers
- House Docents
- Closing site
- Greeter
- Wine Pourers

Volunteer report time: 5PM for Head Host & Launch site volunteers / 5:15PM for Winetasting Tour Volunteers
