Description
The National Trust for Historic Preservation designates May of each year as “Preservation Month”. Historic Savannah Foundation (HSF) has embraced May by hosting an educational festival that demonstrates what makes Savannah unique. We are celebrating our 5th annual Savannah Preservation Festival May 5th, 6th & 7th.
This festive and family friendly event will showcase some of the best examples of preservation in progress along vibrant Broughton Street. Its continuous development economically impacts our city greatly, providing jobs and drawing tourists to enjoy the eclectic shops. This festive and family-friendly event will consist of: Educational Exhibits; Craftsmen Exhibits; Food & Drink & Live Music.
Volunteers must attend the Savannah Preservation Festival Orientation on Wednesday, April 27th at 6 -7PM at the HSF office, 321 E. York Street.
Volunteer Roles
Volunteer needs are:
- Greeters
- Check-in assistance
- Beverage Station attendants
- Food Station attendants
- Bar Station attendants
- Assist with event set-up & break down
