HSF is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to fill a number of positions during the March 26th, 2016 Skidaway Island Marathon & Half Marathon. Through our charitable partnership with Optim Orthopedics and Endurance Race Services, HSF will receive a charitable donation by providing 30 volunteers during the Marathon. Historic Savannah Foundation (HSF) relies on the support of volunteers to help fulfill its mission to preserve and protect Savannah’s heritage. Volunteering with HSF is fun and lets you meet other preservation-minded people while supporting an important local organization.

VOLUNTEER ROLES
- Water Stations (15 volunteers needed total) Volunteer role: setup water station; prepare water & sports drink; pre-fill cups for runners; breakdown/cleanup station
- Course Monitors (15 volunteers needed total) Volunteer role: setup station; monitor marathon runners to ensure they remain on course; breakdown/cleanup station
