Girl Scouts from across the country are invited to attend Girl Scout QuestFest, a festival located in Savannah, Georgia from July 13-16, 2017. The historic home of Girl Scouting will provide the perfect setting for the first annual QuestFest, hosted by Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia. Part Quest, part Festival, QuestFest is a series of events held in several locations throughout the historic city of Savannah, GA.
The “Quest” in QuestFest stands for our main event– a two-day scavenger hunt through the Historic District of Savannah, GA! The twist? Teams of 10-15 are after experiences and not items. Using a smart phone, groups will choose challenges, submit photographic evidence, and receive points via our QuestFest app. The challenges, which we’re calling Quests, are designed with Girl Scout values in mind, so while we’re having fun, we’ll be making the world a better place too
The aim of Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia is to make Girl Scouts, QuestFest a memorable and impactful experience, but we can’t do it alone. Volunteers will play a vital role in the success of this inaugural event. Working to tackle tasks like paperwork, setup, check-in, merchandising and more, QuestFest volunteers will participate in a fun, interactive bash that financially supports Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia, an organization that constantly works to build girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place.
