This family friendly event is the perfect way to support your community, be healthy and have fun all at the same time. Race proceeds benefit the ongoing work of HSF and your support demonstrates your commitment to preserving and protecting what makes Savannah special. Historic Savannah Foundation (HSF) is committed to emphasizing its mission throughout the preparation, execution and celebration of the 2018 Race for Preservation presented by Livingood’s Appliances & Bedding. Together, we aim to educate participants, spectators and the public about the purpose of our ongoing preservation efforts throughout the city’s historic neighborhoods.
The Race begins and ends at Forsyth Park (after a loop around Ardsley and Daffin 5/10K).
Volunteer Check-in: Main Northern Entrance of Forsyth Park (near Gaston and Bull)
Volunteer Roles:
- 5-8 people needed for Packet Pick up table & early morning site set up
- 5 people needed for Water Station #1 (Washington & Bull)
- 4 people needed for the 5k Turnaround
- 5 people needed for Water Station #2 (Daffin Park)
- 15 people needed for Race Expo Alley Booths
