Do you have an interest in helping those experiencing homelessness or hardship find clothing at no cost to them?
Union Mission offers a Clothing Closet that is similar to a Salvation Army or a Goodwill Store. They accept gently used items, such as clothing, household items, and furniture. They then allow their clients and community members to come shop on FRIDAYS from 9AM-12PM. Unlike other stores, Union Mission does not charge for any of the items that individuals may take. Whether someone is taking one pair of pants or furnishing a new apartment, all of the items are completely free. They are able to make this possible because of the donations and volunteering from YOU!
Volunteers are needed on Friday, September 13th from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM to help sort donated items, bring donations from one building to another, and help restock the shelves. Volunteers may also be asked to help client find what they need in the store.
