Royce Learning Center

The mission of Royce Learning Center is to enable children and adults with learning disabilities, attention deficit disorders, and literacy needs to reach their maximum potential educationally, emotionally, and socially by providing comprehensive education services.
For over 50 years, Royce has served those who learn differently, want to improve their academic skills, or seek to attain specific credentials or certifications for the workplace. With students ranging in age from 1^st grade to 50+ years of age, our focus is on those with learning disabilities such as dyslexia, ADD, ADHD, and other learning differences.
We meet the needs of these children and adults with learning differences and literacy needs through The Tutoring Center, Summer Programs at Royce, and the Adult & Community Education.

The Tutoring Center offers educational services to students of all ages who require additional, often specialized support. Students are matched with a tutor who is trained and experienced in areas of need, which often include Learning Disabilities, ADD/Hyperactivity Disorder and other Learning Differences.

The Summer Programs at Royce have shown to improve reading and math skills, school interest, motivation and relationships with adults and peers. Our strategy is to assist children with learning differences such as ADD/ADHD and other learning disorders to become successful and stay on grade level in school, reducing the likelihood of dropping out.

The Adult & Community Education Program (ACE) offers instruction in a wide range of academic skills and workforce training areas, including basic reading, writing and math skills, GED preparation, Firefighter, Police and EMT exams, Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery test (ASVAB), computer skills and applications, and other specific employment-related skills and certifications.
